What about regular carpets/mats that you put over hardwood floors? I usually just vacuum mine, but I only keep carpets because of my dog (the floors would be ruined in no time). Any tips for a more deep clean? I suppose they are not as thick either, and with a shared laundry room (apartment complex) you're not allowed to put carpets in the machines. Besides, some of my carpets wouldn't even fit in a washing machine.

That’s not how you dust. You need a fragrant cleaning product that doesn’t leave streaks and you need a microfiber cloth. Spray product onto cloth and then dust away

I have a couple of pillows that are my favorite and I have 5 pillows on my bed. I keep my older pillows in the back so they don't get used much but they do need to be washed and I never knew I can use peroxide to clean them. Thank you so much for the cleaning tips. I just bought new pillows too and I'm going to get pillow protectors for them to keep them cleaner for longer 🙃

I bought a scrubdaddy from Walmart, used it on my shower and I must’ve used it wrong because my shower now has scratch marks on it 😢

Any suggestions about doing our part in our apartment? We have a full size dryer and we clean out our lint trap after every load, but we only have limited access to clean out the rest.

Great advice. I use the razor blade technique for my flat top stove, BUT you have to be careful and do it carefully on an ANGLE. I had an all glass shower and kept a squeegee in the bathroom. You didn’t use my shower if you didn’t plan on cleaning it after every shower 🚿. Wow, I didn’t realize how mean I was, darn. 😂

I just throw my washing machine dispenser in the dishwasher with my fake house plants on a gentle, no heat cycle. They all come out intact and clean. I’m ashamed I’m so lazy😉

Yours is like mine, right next to the outside wall. You should borrow a friend's house to show how to deal with those vents that go two stories up to the roof. You and I don't have the distance to build up the lint. It's so freaking flammable! This is a really good one to do better. I love all the tips@

I can’t put that much water on my hardwood floors they will warp I have manufactured hardwood. May be a damp cloth, No mopping, maybe another clean, damp swiffer. With a cloth right behind it to dry it. When cleaning lady mopped my brand new floors and she took the shine off of them. It’s never come back.

My concern would be the amount of pressure one needs to apply to the blades to rub the dust off. You could possiblity throw the balance of the fan off.

What’s your thoughts on wet it and forget it on stone showers!??
